Charlotte Ronson Spring 2011

Although this summer isn't even officially over yet, the latest Spring collections have my itching for next year. I'm looking forward to cool neutrals, floral-printed bohemian styles and utillitarian extras, thanks to Charlotte Ronson. As usual, she managed to whip up a bunch of clothes that exude that effortlessly cool vibe.
Her playful, grunge-infused collection featured many shades ranging from cream to army green, and unexpected color combos added an extra element of quirkiness. Who knew that poppy red and grey looked smashing together?

Love love love LOVE Carven F/W 2010. Classic, sophisticated shapes with an unexpected dose of volume. And the subtle cut-outs add a bit of sultry attitude. Perfection.

As I begin the my last year of high school, I find myself yearning for a backpack. I probably haven't used an actual backpack since, oh, maybe 7th grade? A few years after the times when me and all my friends would give our left arm to life the life of Zenon, girl of the twenty-first century.

...Remember me?

8th grade was the year I had an "I'm too chic for a backpack" epiphany, following years of various totes and shoulder bags. But to be qutie honest, I think my left shoudler has had enough. It's time to bring back the packpack.

Instead of opting for the classic hot pink Jansport, I have my eyes set on Peter Pilotto's new line for Kipling. The collection features the designers signature galaxy and digital prints on eleven bags and five accessories. Ranging from just $26 to $98, I can assure you I'll be getting my hands on one of these Big Girl Bags. On sale later this month.
